Lord John and the Private Matter - Diana Gabaldon Lord Grey first appears in [b:Dragonfly in Amber|5364|Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, #2)|Diana Gabaldon|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1320388682s/5364.jpg|2866304] the third book in [b:Outlander|10964|Outlander (Outlander, #1)|Diana Gabaldon|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1304187141s/10964.jpg|2489796] series as an important minor character. I haven't read Outlander and I doubt I will. The book was OK but not so good as I expected. Story is interesting but it isn't page turner, main character is likeable enough but other characters are flat. Of course the mystery is revealed by "baddy" in the end. And I have no idea why so many readers shelved this story as "romance". All that said, I do plan to read [b:Lord John And The Hand Of Devils|437406|Lord John And The Hand Of Devils (Lord John Grey, #0.5, #1.5, #2.5)|Diana Gabaldon|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1320490308s/437406.jpg|1189871].
