Gavin isn't like most people as he isn't capable of emotions and that makes him dangerous when he has decided that he owns Val. I absolutely hate Gavin. I doubt anyone who has read these series would ask why. But the answer is simple In time we hate that which we often fear. People like him exists and that's scary. Few words about Val. I recently read the first book and vividly remember how innocent Val was and it was painful to see how much her experience has changed her. She is a fighter but she was too young when she first meet Gavin and he's slowly, step by step destroying her personality.
