Fearscape (Horrorscape, #1)

Fearscape (Horrorscape, #1) - Nenia Campbell This isn't a retelling of Beauty and the Beast where the Beast is changed to the Prince Charming by the power of love. Gavin, our antihero, is not capable of love. Full stop. And Val, is unfortunate, unwittingly to catch his attention. Val is very likable character, she isn't stupid and has common sense and inner strength that for some reason female characters often lack in YA books. I absolutely love Gavin as a fictional character. I've weakness for characters with personality disorders(?) but only in fiction.I would recommend this books for these who have a friend who is obsessed with the bad boys image and think bad boys = SuperMegaFoxyAwesomeHot. Give your friend this book- maybe just maybe some of them would rethinking it but to be honest more likely they would be angry that Gavin didn't turn into sweetie pie.
